The difference between Broad Spectrum, Isolate and Full spectrum products

What’s the difference?

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive from our customers is the difference between CBD isolate, broad spectrum isolate and a full spectrum product. We wanted to break it down to ensure a better understanding and to help our customers choose the best product suited for them.

CBD Isolate

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, which is produced by removing all other compounds found in the plant including terpenes, flavonoids, plant parts, and other cannabinoids. Simply put, CBD isolate contains no other parts of the plant (including THC), it is just pure CBD. CBD isolate is also known as 99% CBD as it contains no other parts of the plant, it is only the CBD molecule that is extracted. The reason why it is known as 99% CBD and not 100% isolate is because even though the extraction process is believed to be the highest quality extraction process, it is always possible for CBD to contain trace amounts of other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.

This is the purest form of CBD and is perfect for those who have been recommended high doses of CBD as it is the most potent CBD product and delivers high levels of CBD to your bodies system. Our pure CBD Hemp oil is an excellent choice for those looking for a high quality isolate product.

Broad spectrum CBD

Broad spectrum is a mix between CBD isolate and Full spectrum. It contains all parts of the plant like full spectrum but like CBD isolate, all the THC is removed
Broad spectrum CBD contains multiple canabinoids, it can therefore deliver the enhanced benefits of all compounds found within the plant without the risk of psychoactive effects of THC.  Broad spectrum CBD offers the full benefits of the cannabis plant..

Full spectrum

Full spectrum is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occuring in the plant including terpines, essential oils and other cannabinoids. This offers the full benefits of the cannabis plant but may have a psychoactive or sedative effect.
Full spectrum products are best for people with severe conditions or conditions that broad spectrum or CBD isolate cannot treat. This is because the inclusion of THC helps to achieve what is known as the ‘entourage effect’ which means the cannibinoids are working within synergy within the body.
