Understanding how Medicinal Mushrooms work within the body?
Medical Mushrooms are mushrooms that are used to make tinctures and natural supplements. They contain one or more compounds that can have various health benefits as well, such as antiviral or anti-senescence properties. Many medical mushrooms also contain adaptogenic properties which are understudies, such as compounds that boost the immune system by stimulating lymphocyte production, or novel anti-inflammatories.

Lions Mane 30ml
- Lion’s Mane contains the compounds Hericenones and Erinacines which show unmatched neuroprotective properties among the mushrooms.
- Contains compounds such as Diterpenoids Erinacine A, B, and C that stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF). It, therefore, prevents neurodegeneration and has positive effects on overall brain health. Lion’s Mane may therefore assist in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.

Turkey Tail 30ml
- The 2 major phytochemicals in Turkey Tail are PSK (Polysaccharide Krestin) and PSP (Polysaccharide Peptide).
- PSK: Enhances the activity of the immune system, has broad-spectrum antineoplastic scope, improves the functioning of blood vessels, acts directly on tumor cells, boosts cellular immunity, and has antitumor properties: Fibrosarcoma, melanoma, mammary, colon, lung cancers, etc.
- The antitumor activity of PSK increases when used together with radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
- PSP is an immunostimulant. It has also been shown to inhibit tumors, e.g. various liver, stomach, nose, and throat cancers.
- Turkey Tail also has antiviral properties (assists with upper respiratory, urinary and digestive tract infections) and liver disorders (e.g. Hepatitis B and chronic active hepatitis)

- Two standout compounds in Reishi are Ganoderic and Ganoderenic Acids. These have tremendous results in the treatment of autoimmune diseases and liver dysfunction. They also possess antioxidant properties – protect against free radical damage.
